Jo Bollino

Jo has been a member of SOVRC for many years and on the committee for almost as many. She is our Club Chairman. She has several horses, and enjoys competing in all disciplines. Jo's OTTB Kev is still going strong now well into his twenties, representing the club at most area competitions & championships. Jo & Kev were members of our National Champions arena eventing team in 2024 along with fellow committee members Sarah B-A & Natalie Eastwood

Cheryl Beer

Cheryl has been a member of the club for many years and on the committee for almost as long. Always a reliable team member she competes in all disciplines on her young horse Bud. Cheryl particularly enjoys eventing and qualified for Badminton Grass Roots on her mare Taw, as well as twice on Bud. Cheryl is the club social secretary, organising non-ridden events for our members

Sarah Box-Adair

Sarah joined the committee in 2019 and organises the club training, and looks after all things social media & website related.. She is also one of the club Team Managers. She enjoys training and competing with the club in dressage and the smaller jumping classes, preferring not to leave the ground over too big a fence. She & her mares Diva & Jessie are found at most Area competitions. Sarah & Diva were members of our National Champions arena eventing team in 2024 along with fellow committee members Jo & Natalie

Anne Stenning

Anne joined the committee in 2021 as Club Treasurer, putting her accountant day job skills to good use, and has the unenviable task of keeping track of the club finances. As well as looking after the financial side of the club Anne has does the majority of the Camp organisation behind the scenes, ensuring trainers, riders and horses are all in the right place at the right time! Anne has two horses, Princess & Joey, and is an active member of the club, enjoying much of our training.

Kate Kerswell

Kate joined the committee ready for 2025. She is a team manager along with Jo & Sarah B-A. She also took over running the unaffiliated dressage in 2025 and has the unenviable task of sourcing & looking after all the club rosettes. Kate owns eye catching golden boy Cruise, and regularly attends club training and has competed for the club in dressage and combined training

Natalie Eastwood

Natalie joined the committee in 2025. Her years of showjumping experience bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. With several lovely horses she is a very active team member, already having represented the club at several National championships, being part of the 2024 winning team with fellow committee members Sarah B-A & Jo. Nat is always happy to help at events, or setting them up

Sarah Hitchings

Sarah and her ex-racers have always been active members of the club, representing SOVRC in horse trials, as well as showjumping and arena eventing. Sarah has run the annual Arena Eventing Area Qualifier for the past couple of years, making it look easy, despite the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes

Catherine Williams

Catherine joined the committee ready for 2026. She has taken on the role of redesigning & creating the club newsletter. She is an active member of the club with her big grey boy Alfie, competing in most disciplines with him and regularly taking part in training

Mercedes Pemberton-Matthews

Mercedes and her coloured boy Harley were regulars on the dressage teams for many years, and particularly enjoyed dressage to music & quadrille. Mercedes organises the Dressage teams for the area competitions,. She is joint social secretary along with Cheryl, and has recently taken a back seat from riding to have Baby Rupert

Kate Kennedy

Kate is always happy to help out at events, although doesn't ride herself, and is the club safeguarding officer.
